Creating a new account for Cauldron VTT

To start with signing up, open up Cauldron-vtt then head to the "Register for a free account"

This step can be skipped depending on whether you are a DM or a player.

What is an invitation Code

This is how cauldron works. An invitation code is only required for player's. These invitation codes are located in "DM's Vault > Invite". The DM/GM will have to communicate this invitation code to you. Input this invitation code into the dedicated box and you can continue.

• DM/GM:You can choose "Next >>" as you will not be requiring an invitation code.
• Player:You will require an invitation code from your DM/GM before continuing otherwise you will not so easily be able to play in your DM/GMs adventures.

As a player, this invitation code will "connect" you to your DM/GM so that once added steps have been set up you will be able to see your DM/GMs adventure(s).

Verification Code

You are then prompted to enter your email address. If you don't want to use your own personal email address you can try using a 10 Minute Email Address. Once you have entered your email address then you will be sent a verification code. This email shouldn't take long to come through but if it isn't being sent check your spam folder (just in case).

Final Setup

Finally you are prompted to input your full name (or at least a name that people you're connected to will recognise) and a password for your account. Your password must be at least 8 character's long and contain at least one number, one letter, and one symbol.

When inputting a username, ensure that it contains no spaces.

Logging into cauldron

Now your account has been created with cauldron, you can long in with the email address and password you set up.
