Collectables
Collectables are used in Cauldron to set something that can be collected. To use a collectable, it has to be on a token. There is more about how a collectable works in the adventure guide.
On the top right, you'll see a drop-down box where you can choose which campaign to create collectables for.
Creating a new Collectable
Once you begin to create a new collectable, you'll be greeted with some options to input based on your collectable. First, its name and description. Once the player has found the collectable, they will be able to view the name and description of it.
Then browse and choose an image to represent it. This image will be uploaded to your resources so it will take up a small amount of space. The image should match what it does for all other image uploads in different areas of Cauldron.
- Collectable has been found (visible in inventory): This means that players will already see this collectable in their inventory.
- Hide the containing token when the collectable is found: A collectable has to be hidden in a token in order to be found. Enabling this option will ensure that the token that the collectable is found in will be hidden after the collectable is found.
- When found, explain the collectable by revealing the description to the players: This will show the description to the players once it is found.
